Big news! Things around my house are changing in a big way!
So, in Sept I found out my husband and I are expecting a baby in May. This was very exciting news for us, as we have been wanting a baby for a while now. The only downside to this is that I was very sick for the first three months of my pregnancy. I had terrible nausea and morning sickness. Thankfully I am doing much better now in my second trimester/5th month of pregnancy. Later in December we found out that we are having a baby boy!

I have a lot of insight into the first trimester of pregnancy now, since I survived it. I will be sharing a post soon about what helped me the most during this time. Also stay tuned for Wednesday’s post about ways to keep your marriage solid as you go through pregnancy.
Color run and teal hair: part 2 of daring to dream complete!
My hubby and I did complete our goal of doing the 5k color run for charity in Sept (around the time we found out our baby news!). Also, I did still color my hair fully teal/aqua in Sept (before I knew about the baby as well). My hair STILL has most of the color as I only wash it a couple times (these were both part of the Daring to dream post I wrote back in mid Sept).
The excitement of the baby’s arrival in May has not fully set in for me, even at five months along! This is my first little one, so it has been a learning experience, but I fully intend to share any and all helpful information and products that are helping/will help me both during pregnancy and when my little baby boy arrives in May.
I am taking these gummy prenatals and really liking them, as I have had a bad gag reflex throughout my pregnancy. Really I am doing my best to stay healthy. But, the first trimester was hard and I tried to eat the best I could. Now that I am through that part, it has gotten easier. More about that later!

I am still nervous about a lot of it as this is my first baby, as I said! See ya later!
